Felipe Nasr kept Action Express Racing on the top of the time sheets at Sebring International Raceway in the second practice session of the day for the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.

Nasr reeled off a 1:47.323 in the No. 31 Cadillac DPi-V.R late in the session to edge out the No. 5 JDC-Miller Motorsports Cadillac of Loic Duval by 0.181 seconds.

Kevin Magnussen, who led the majority of the session in the No. 01 Chip Ganassi Racing Cadillac, was relegated to fourth in the end, with Oliver Jarvis making a last-lap improvement to put his No. 55 Mazda RT24-P third on the time charts.

The pair of Acura ARX-05s from Wayne Taylor Racing and Meyer Shank Racing completed the top-five, respectively.

LMP2 was again led by the No. 52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports Oreca 07 Gibson of Mikkel Jensen while Dylan Murry put the No. 91 Riley Motorsports Ligier JS P320 Nissan out front in LMP3 again.

Murrry’s 1:57.371 lap was 0.480 seconds slower than the GT Le Mans class pace-setting No. 79 WeatherTech Racing Porsche 911 RSR-19 of Matt Campbell, who led the top production-based class.

The No. 75 SunEnergy1 Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Mikael Grenier, meanwhile, paced GT Daytona.

A trial of a new wave-by procedure was performed early in the session, resulting a yellow flag and safety car intervention.

The session ran otherwise without major incident, other than a brief red flag with 15 minutes left on the clock for the No. 38 Performance Tech Motorsports Ligier, which suffered a spin.

A 90-minute night practice session gets underway at 7:30 p.m.
