Toyota has revealed the first images of its Le Mans Hypercar that will debut in the FIA World Endurance Championship this year.
The Japanese manufacturer’s latest hybrid-powered prototype racer, which replaces the triple 24 Hours of Le Mans-winning Toyota TS050 Hybrid LMP1, is the first of the new breed of LMH cars to be seen in full.
Toyota previously released a set of teaser images, while the latest full-focus pictures show the car in its camouflage testing livery during a session at Paul Ricard last October.
The car, which is set to be named the Toyota GR010 Hybrid, is due to be officially launched in Japan on Friday morning (6 p.m. ET on Thursday).
The announcement will include the car’s technical details and Toyota’s six-man driver lineup for the 2021 WEC season.
