The No. 01 Chip Ganassi Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R of Renger van der Zande is out front of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring at the halfway mark.

Van der Zande retook the lead of the race late in the fifth hour following a round of pit stops with the No. 55 Mazda RT24-P of Oliver Jarvis.

The Dutchman got around Jarvis on the out lap and extended his advantage to nearly 20 seconds over the Mazda with six hours completed.

Oliver Pla runs third in the No. 60 Meyer Shank Racing Acura ARX-05 followed by the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing entry of Alexander Rossi at the wheel.

The No. 48 Action Express Racing Cadillac of Simon Pagenaud runs in fifth, with the car having been off-sequence since Jimmie Johnson’s accident in the opening hour of the race.

LMP2 continues to be led by the No. 52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports Oreca 07 Gibson, now in the hands of Scott Huffaker while Spencer Pigot is out front in LMP3 in the No. 74 Riley Motorsports Ligier JS P320 Nissan.

The No. 3 Chevrolet Corvette C8.R of Antonio Garcia paces GT Le Mans, with a narrow 2.7-second advantage over Phillip Eng in the No. 25 Team RLL BMW M8 GTE in second.

John Edwards runs third in class on the tail end of the lead lap in the sister BMW entry.

Trent Hindman has taken over the lead of GT Daytona to put the No. 16 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R out front.

Hindman displaced the No. 9 Pfaff Motorsports Porsche, which had been leading in the hands of Laurens Vanthoor prior to a driver change to Lars Kern.

The No. 23 The Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 is third with factory driver Ross Gunn.

The race has continued under green flag conditions following the restart late in the fourth hour for barrier repairs due to an accident by Franck Perera and Billy Johnson.

Both GTD drivers were evaluated and released from the infield care center but have seen their cars retired due to crash damage. They are the only official retirements so far.
