Renger van der Zande set the pace in the final night running before the Rolex 24 at Daytona for Chip Ganassi Racing.

The Dutch driver eclipsed his co-driver Scott Dixon, who had led for much of the session, late in the running to ensure the No. 01 Cadillac DPi-V.R wound up on top of the charts.

Ricky Taylor was second fastest in the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Acura ARX-05, followed by a trio of Cadillacs in the hands of Felipe Nasr, Loic Duval, and Simon Pagenaud.

Only six of the seven DPi cars set representative times as Mazda Motorsports elected to skip most of night practice in order to conduct a planned engine change as they have done in previous years.

The No. 55 Mazda RT24-P did come out for an installation lap just before the session concluded.

All six of the other DPi class cars were within a second of one another at the end of the session.

Mikkel Jensen was the fastest of the LMP2 field in the No. 52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports Oreca 07 Gibson, followed by Matthieu Vaxiviere and Robert Kubica of Tower Motorsports and High Class Racing, respectively.

Jeroen Bleekemolen led the way in LMP3 for Riley Motorsports, checking in a fraction of a second ahead of the GT Le Mans class leader Nick Tandy of Corvette Racing.

Vasser Sullivan ended the session atop the GT Daytona standings courtesy of a fast lap from Aaron Telitz in the No. 14 Lexus RC F GT3.

The lone red flag of night practice was issued for the No. 63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo which stopped on track prior to pit entry with just under 50 minutes remaining.
