Toyota will once again bring six top-class GR Supras to the 2021 Super GT Championship, with the announcement completing the GT500 field.

The manufacturer’s driving lineups have also announced with 2019 champions Kenta Yamashita and Kazuya Oshima re-uniting in a full-time capacity at Rookie Racing.

Sacha Fenestraz will share the No. 37 TOM’S entry with Ryo Hirakawa as the former replaces the Formula E-bound Nick Cassidy.

Meanwhile, Sho Tsuboi takes over Fenestraz’s vacant seat alongside Yuhi Sekiguchi in the No. 36 TOM’S machine.

Toyota’s other three lineups remain unchanged from last season as Racing Project Bandoh, SARD, and Cerumo continue on.

The news brings the completion of the GT500 field following Honda and Nissan’s recent announcements.

Toyota also confirmed three entries in the GT300 class this season including LM Corsa who are making the switch from Lexus machinery to Toyota’s GR Supra GT300 car.

Super GT’s opening round is due to take place at Okayama International Circuit from April 10-11.
