Longtime Porsche single-make series entrant Kelly-Moss Road & Race will expand into Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America competition this year with a three-car entry for this weekend’s season-opener at Circuit of The Americas.

The Wisconsin-based team, with the support of Lamborghini of San Francisco, will field Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evos for Alec Udell, Bill Peluchiwski and Tom Kerr.

“We have been very interested in entering the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series for quite some time,” said team founder and president Jeff Stone.

“This year presented a great opportunity for KMR to expand into the series with three strong drivers.

“Like with anything else it takes critical masses to make it happen. We are really looking forward to starting a new series and a new part of KMR. We cannot wait to get on track at COTA for the first round.”

Former Pirelli World Challenge race winner and 2019 GT4 European Series champion Udell will make his series debut in a Pro class entry.

The 25-year-old, who has been part of the KMR’s coaching team, will also play an “integral component” in the launch of its new online driver academy.

“Motorsports is one of those places that gives you the opportunity to not only push your limits, but push the limits of those around you, I look forward to adding KMR’s presence in the LST paddock,” said Udell.

While Peluchiwski makes the switch from Porsche GT3 Cup machinery, Kerr will embark on his second season of Super Trofeo after running with TPC Racing last year.

Both Peluchiwski and Kerr will be racing in the LB Cup class.

“I wanted to take my driving skills to the next level,” said Kerr. “As a vascular surgeon with a busy full time practice, my driving and track time is very limited.

“I don’t have the luxury of being at the track as often as many of the other drivers so I need to maximize my driving time.

“KMR has a long history of winning and producing champions. They have the knowledge, the experience and staff to accomplish these goals.”
